Telekom and LiveShare Bring You Incredible Street Gigs!

Imagine watching your favorite band perform in an abandoned junkyard, a train station, an ice rink or an observatory. That’s just the kind of fan experience that Telekom brings you in the form of Street Gigs in Germany. Bands and musicians, such as Snow Patrol, Phoenix and others, that have already played at the more established music festivals and concert arenas now make their way to streets to connect with their fans. These completely free concerts take place in unconventional venues and provide an intimate surrounding for music fans. And now premiering with LiveShare, Telekom Street Gigs is giving fans even greater access to their favorite artists. To fully illustrate how cool this partnership is take a look at this trailer!

Yesterday, the self-made, world famous Milow played at the scenic Parkbad Süd in Castrop-Rauxel, which is essentially a huge open air pool. Many at the event were able to share this experience with fans everywhere by taking pictures into the “Telekom Street Gigs Milow” stream in the app during the show and uploading them to the web on liveshare.com afterwards. These pictures can also be seen on the Telekom Street Gigs facebook page. Furthermore, the three people who upload pictures with the most likes win exclusive autographed gear by Milow. Fans have till July 5th to enter their submissions for a chance to win.

And for the rest of us who aren’t lucky enough to be in Germany to witness this innovative concert, we can always rely on the “Telekom Street Gigs Milow” stream both on the web and the app to vicariously enjoy Milow and soak in this unique atmosphere!

    Today we launch the world’s first LIVE Immersive 3D Ad campaign in partnership with InMobi, the world’s largest independent mobile advertising network! We’ve been talking about Cooliris Immersive Ads for a while now, and we’re super excited to work with Starcom Mediavest Group, who brokered the deal, to bring cutting edge ads to mobile platforms around the world.     We created Immersive Ads to empower advertisers to deliver engaging, rich-media ads to mobile devices. By adding interactive 3D to the images, video and animation found in many ads, we take rich media to a new level.     They’ve always been there for us – wiped our tears, taught us how to throw a football, helped us with homework, provided us with unconditional support and along the way spoiled us rotten. We owe the world to our fathers! This Father’s Day, Facebook teamed up with LiveShare for an extremely special way to thank fathers everywhere.

    For their Father’s Day promotion, Facebook asked their user base to submit photos honoring their dads, and we’re excited that Facebook trusted Cooliris products to beautifully display all the submissions on their own Facebook Fan page, which boasts 46 million fans. You might think something this beautiful took weeks to produce, but because of the powerful platform we’ve built with LiveShare, coupled with Facebook’s social plugins, turn-around was a matter of minutes.
