Nikon is currently sponsoring its Short Movie Festival, which you can submit your own video to for a chance to win a top prize of $100,000 and a Nikon D5000 D-SLR kit. One of the conditions is that the movie reflects the essence of your day – be it funny, sad, profound, or touching.

To jump-start your creativity, we have launched the new featured Short Movies channel, where you can also find more details about submitting your own short movie to the contest. The channel is a compilation of impressive Oscar-nominated short films. A great one to begin with is Our Time is Up. Unfortunately, if you’re outside of the US, this content is not available due to its content providers, but we are working to expand our international offerings.
